The best place to view the state’s second biggest fireworks show? The Putnam County Fairgrounds. So get to the Fairgrounds Monday afternoon, reserve your spot, and enjoy some Fourth of July fun during Pre Boom 2016. Parking is free. Avoid the crowds.
It all begins on the 4th at 5pm….with the Pre Boom Kids Zone. Enjoy inflatables, games, an emergency vehicle display, snow cones, cotton candy, burgers, fried oreos and more. Then at 5:30pm, it’s live music on the Fairgrounds Stage. Jake Hoot and the Smoky Mountain Band get you pumped up for the fireworks. Then at 6:45pm, it’s the Backroads Band in concert.
Bring a picnic, your lawn chairs, and sit in the parking lot with your neighbors and friends as 8:45pm approaches – and a huge fireworks show lights up the sky. Be sure to tune to 95.9, 100.9, 106.9 or 93.7 for the fireworks music to enjoy the show.
Putnam County Government welcomes you to Pre Boom 2016 at the Putnam County Fairgrounds, July 4th beginning at 5pm. It’s all a part of Cookeville’s Red White and Boom.
