McMinnville Sees 1 New Aldermen, 2 Return

Sally Brock, Kara Youngblood and Rachel Kirby will serve on the McMinnville Board Of Aldermen.

Brock won election Tuesday night with 25.68 percent of the vote. Youngblood, a newcomer to the board, finished second at 20.77 percent. Kirby finished 77 votes ahead of Stacey Harvey for the third seat.

Mayor Ryle Chastain ran unopposed, winning 98.7 percent of the ballots.

In Viola, Carolyn Garretson won one of the two seats. Arzie Templeton and Susan Wilson tied for the second seat.

John David Mankins defeated Ramona Maths for Mayor of Centertown.
