Cookeville Leisure Services Reopens Skate Park; Police Receive Leads

Community members have provided leads to Cookeville Police on the vandalism that shut down the Park View Skate Park, leading the city to reopen the park Wednesday.

Bathrooms will remain closed. Those facilities have been at the center of at least six vandalism incidents in the last three weeks.

Director Of Leisure Service Rick Woods said he thanked the individuals who came forward to assist in the investigation. The park reopened its normal hours Wednesday afternoon.
