Cleanup efforts on Highway 111’s rideshare near exit 286 are part of a larger T-DOT project.
Region 3 Communications Officer Rae Anne Bradley said a portion of Highway 111 is set to be resurfaced later this year.
“So along with that, there will be some changes to the rideshare,” Bradley said. “That will enhance safety for both motorists traveling on 111 and for those parking in the rideshare.”
Bradley said T-DOT had removed some of the vegetation overhang at the location just a few weeks ago. She said that will allow the upcoming work to be completed ideally this summer.
