PCSS Warning Against AMS Football Fundraising Scam

Putnam County School System asking the community to be aware of a potential scam posing as a fundraiser for the Algood Middle School football team:

Someone going house-to-house collecting money to replace shoulder pads for the team. Coach Matt McCarver said they are not fundraising for this equipment.

McCarver said the only fundraiser the team has underway at this time is the donation board. He said if someone is fundraising for this effort, they will present the donation board and the bundt cake sales.
