Celina installing a new park bench at Donaldson Park in honor of the late Latisha (La-Tesh-Uh) Denton.
Mayor Luke Collins said Denton was one of the only educators to teach at all four Clay County Schools.

Denton taught at Hermitage Springs, Clay County High School, Celina K-8 and Maple Grove which closed several years ago. Collins said the bench should be installed by this summer.
Collins said her life deserved to be honored based on the amount of Clay County students she impacted. She passed away after a car accident last year at the age of 53-years-old.
