The White County Solid Waste Committee will discuss the future of garbage operations in a meeting Monday. Members will once again discuss how to proceed with its landfill cell that is currently not accepting residential trash.
The session starts at 5:30 p.m.
The Clay County Commission could purchase a new city truck Monday. A $25,000 price tag that commissioners will vote on at 6:30 p.m.
Tuesday, the Algood City Council will consider the final reading to allow the sale of wine at retail stores. Another final reading to rewrite the building permit expiration ordinance to lower fees on the docket.
The meeting starts at 6:00 p.m. at city hall. A Monday work session will be held at 5:00 to discuss the agenda items.
The Crossville City Council will consider the next step in its indoor recreation center project Tuesday. Council members will vote on soliciting for proposals from general contractors to lead the work. Meeting begins at 6:00 p.m.
Thursday, the White County School Board meets at 6:00 p.m. The Clay County Board of Education also meets Thursday at 6:00 p.m.
