Celina City Council Considering Pay Raise To Recruit More Police Officers

Celina Mayor Luke Collins said a pay raise for police officers might be in order after recent struggles in the city’s police department.

Collins said they could potentially look at an increase of $16 to $17 an hour for officers. He said the city’s struggles are part of a larger picture with nationwide issues to recruit and retain employees.
