What started as a memoir for his family has turned into a book for a Cookeville man.
Jim Greeson authored “A Collection of Life Stories.” Greeson said he originally wrote the collection of some 50 stories for his daughter and grandchildren.
“When they get older and if they are interested and want to know more about Grandpa Jim, then it will tell them all about that, but as I got into it, other people heard that I was getting into it,” Greeson said. “From that, I decided to publish it on Amazon.”
Greeson said the almost chronological story starts with his childhood in Northern Alabama, follows his graduation from Tennessee Tech and highlights 45 years of public education work. Greeson said he hopes the book serves as inspiration to others as it follows the ups and downs of his life.
Greeson said so far, the support for his publication has been more than expected. You can find the book by simply searching “Jim Greeson” on Amazon.
