Putnam, White Experiencing Power Outages From Storm

Putnam and White County experiencing some power outages after a severe thunderstorm rolled through the area.

The Cookeville Electric Department reporting outages on Interstate Drive, Humble Drive and Foreman Drive. As for the rest of Putnam County, EMA Director Tyler Smith said there has been no reports of damage at this time.

Sparta fire crews working on a couple downed power lines within the city limits. White County EMA Assistant Director Kyle Winnett said a few power outages occurred as a result.
