Cookeville Woman Injured In Wednesday I-40 Accident

A Cookeville woman was injured Wednesday morning in an I-40 accident in Putnam County.

61-year-old Marianne Brown was traveling east in a 2015 Chevrolet Camaro when she struck the rear of a 2020 Kenworth Semi-Tractor driven by 65-year-old Ronald Vosekuil of Spartanburg, South Carolina.

After striking the vehicle, Brown then ran into a guardrail on the right side of the road. She was transported by ground to Cookeville Regional Medical Center with minor injuries,

Vosekuil received no injuries.
