Crossville Moves Codes Department To Better Customer Service

City of Crossville has moved its Codes Department.

City Manager Greg Wood said that the department will move from the basement up to the 4th floor of City Hall.

“We have to cover so much area in the county and especially with the new racetrack going up in the east end of the county it’s going to take our folks a while to get over there and inspect those things,” Wood said. “So to try and give better customer service and in more a timely fashion, we hired another person which necessitated us moving them up to get a little more room.”

Wood said that Office hours are Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m.
