Leadership Cumberland Returns After COVID Hiatus

Leadership Cumberland has returned after COVID shut down the program.

Crossville/Cumberland County Chamber of Commerce President Ethan Hadley said classes began this month creating locally grown leaders.

“The purpose of the program itself is to identify, educate, inspire and connect leaders current and upcoming in Cumberland County, so that they can better serve the community moving forward,” Hadley said.

Hadley said the program has seen great interest with all 18 slots filled. Hadley said classes start with a personality test to better understand their leadership styles. From there, Hadley said participants travel across the county to see first hand how the local government, education system and economy work together.

Hadley said leaders benefit by creating relationships in the professional world. Hadley said a graduation ceremony tops of the program.
