UC Home Builders Association Home And Garden Show Returns March 4th And 5th

The Home and Garden Show of the Home Builders Association of the Upper Cumberland is returning this spring.

Executive Officer Mallory Hill said that after a two-year hiatus, they are ready and rearing to go. She said that with over 130 businesses participating, there will be plenty to do.

“We’ll have everything that you could think of that you would need to either remodel a house, build a house or just get design ideas,” Hill said. “We’ll have landscapers, countertop companies, and then we’ll have some fun stuff too. ”

Hill said that they’ll have food trucks, the RE/MAX hot air balloon, and a woodburning artist. She said that they’ll also have a big cooking stage where local restaurants and businesses will have presentations.

Hill said that with such a big boom in building interest lately, she expects there to be a great turnout.

“There’s so much building going on right now,” Hill said. “I think there is a lot of excitement. There is so much building going on, so many new houses and developments in Cookeville now. So I think people are ready to get out and get some new inspirations as well as get ready for spring.”

Hill said that the event will run from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday. She said that tickets can be found on eventbrite.com for $7, or for $10 at the door.
