Livingston Registration Open For Upcoming Baseball/Softball Season

Registration open now until February 25th for Livingston City Park Baseball & Softball.

Park Director Michael Hayes said four leagues will play this year including youth teams of all ages.

Hayes said some 300-400 children participate in the leagues each year. So in order to make the season happen, Hayes said the city needs several volunteers for coaches and umpires.

Hayes said with the sign-up comes a registration fee that goes to funding the season. The diaper league for 3-4 year olds is $30 Children ages 5-6 cost $45. The youth league and slow pitch softball for ages 7-16 is $60.

Team drafts will happen the first weekend March. After that, Hayes said the season should begin in April. Hayes said you can sign up at Livingston city hall or by visiting www.livingstoncitypark.com.
