Clay County, Pickett County, and Sparta are set to receive USDA grants through the Community Facilities Program.
USDA Deputy Secretary Dr. Jewel Bronaugh announced the grants which will “increase access to health care, education and public safety while spurring community development and building sound infrastructure for people living in rural communities.”
Clay County will receive $44,000, Sparta $15,300 and Pickett $5,800.
