Sunday night’s snow event has produced power outages in parts of the Upper Cumberland, but roads are in relatively good shape.
Law enforcement encouraging residents to take care on bridges and overpasses where the below-freezing temperatures will have the most impact. Most major roads have been treated and have been able to use the heat from Friday and Saturday to remain clear.
UCEMC working power outages in several areas as of 5am Monday. They include Ensor Hollow Rd, Shaw Branch Rd, Dennys Ln, Medley Amonette Rd, Bates Rd, St Marys Rd, Agee Hollow Rd, Deck Mtn Rd, Oakwood Ln, Whiteaker Springs Rd, Edgar Evins State Park, Martin Creek Rd, Mill Pond Ln, Rose Garden Ln, Petty Ridge Rd, Macedonia Rd, Falling Water Rd, Plum Hollow Ln, Dry Creek Rd, Nashville Hwy and Timber Trail.

Between two and six inches of snow fell beginning Sunday evening across the Upper Cumberland. Some of the biggest accumulations, according to the National Weather Service, are across Cumberland and Fentress Counties. The precipitation has moved to the east.
