Weather Service To Visit Clay County, Carthage Monday

National Weather Service forecasters will visit Clay County today to look at the damage from Saturday morning’s storm.

They will try to determine whether a tornado touched down in the Hermitage Springs community around 4:30 Saturday morning. The survey team will also visit Carthage.

Forecasters found evidence of seven tornadoes touching down across middle Tennessee during their work Sunday.
