UC Active COVID Cases Down In Last Three Weeks

Active COVID numbers across the Upper Cumberland have decreased by almost 61 percent in the past three weeks.

That according to recently released data from the state.

The most dramatic difference came from Van Buren, whose average active cases were at 95 and are now at 26 as of Tuesday, a 73 percent decrease. Another large decrease came from Putnam County, whose cases sat at 1,131 but are now at 352, a 69 percent decrease.

Pickett County’s number remains the most unchanged, with active cases at 56 three weeks and 55 cases as of Tuesday’s numbers.
