Putnam Election Commission Sets Primary Date For Both Parties

The Republican and Democratic primaries are set for Putnam County in Spring 2022.

Putnam County Assistant Administrator of Elections Jennifer Murphy said May 3 has been set as the date.

“County Commissioners, the County Clerk, County Mayor, Register of Deeds,” Murphy said. “Road Supervisor, Sheriff, Trustee. So it is every county office.”

Murphy said the only position that will not be on the ballot is the Assessor of Property.

Murphy said that primary day will be May 3. Murphy said the early voting window will be from April 13 until April 28.
