The Cumberland House of Hospice of Cumberland County is hosting a shopping fundraiser with Masquerade Fundraising at Fairfield Glade on Tuesday.
Hospice volunteer Sherry Koch said visitors can expect to shop for everything from jewelry to children’s items, with everything for just five dollars.
“All kinds of jewelry,” Koch said. “Necklaces, rings, watches, hats, scarves, purses, various-sized tote bags, wraps and closet organizers.”
Koch said people will be excited for the quality and quantity of things they can find at the sale.
“The jewelry items and all the accessories are absolutely incredible,” Koch said. “They’re high quality. I have purchased many over the years, we’ve done this several times now, and everything that I’ve purchased I’ve been very happy with.”
As the only residential hospice location in the community, Koch said the non-profit relies on donations and fundraisers to continue to provide quality care for their clients.
“And our hospice facility provides an enhanced quality of life of for those experiencing terminal illness,” Koch said. “Also addressed are the emotional, spiritual, and informational needs of those experiencing this loss.”
The sale will run from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cash, credit and debit is accepted, and admission is free.
