A Cookeville teenager died Monday morning in a Dekalb County accident.
19-year-old Savannah Buckley died when she lost control of her vehicle along highway 70 and crossed the center line colliding with a vehicle driven by 31-year-old Ryan Robinson of Sparta. According to a preliminary report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Buckley’s vehicle did not negotiate the curve.
The two vehicles ended up on the shoulder of the westbound lanes.
Buckley was pronounced dead on the scene. The accident happened just before 6am Monday.
