May Bell Reed, Age 77 Of Crawford Passed Away On Sunday, April 25 At Her Home. Funeral Arrangements Are Incomplete.
Mr. Herbert Lee Sims, Jr. age 79 of Sparta passed away Sunday, April 25 at the St. Thomas Highlands Hospital. Arrangements are incomplete.
Robert Aley Stancil, 57 of Silver Point, passed away Saturday April 24 at his home. Services are incomplete.
Graveside services and interment for Ima Jean Riggs, age 90 of Cookeville, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday April 27 at Smyrna Cemetery. Pastor Scott Parkison will officiate. Mrs. Riggs passed away Saturday morning April 24 at her home. Jean was baptized at the age of 12 at Bear Creek Baptist Church and was a current member of Stevens Street Baptist Church. She was retired from McCord-Winn in Cookeville. She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Lehman Riggs; son, Larry D. West; and daughter, Linda Smith all of Cookeville. The family will receive friends immediately following the services at the cemetery.
Celebration of Life Services for Mrs. Felicia Looper Mitchell, age 55 of Livingston will be conducted 3 p.m., Tuesday, April 27 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Bro. John Copeland will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in the Hayes Family Cemetery. Mrs. Mirchell passed from this life on Sunday morning, April 25 from her residence in Livingston. She was born in Overton County, Tennessee on July 9, 1965 to Nelda Sue Harris Looper and the late Kermit Conrad Looper. Felicia loved her children, and grandchildren very much. She enjoyed reading, and singing along to music. Felicia leaves behind her daughters, Misty Looper of Livingston, and Ashley (Kyle) Copeland of Cookeville; and her mother, Sue Looper of Cookeville. The family will welcome friends on Tuesday morning from 9 a.m. until time of services at Speck Funeral Home.
Funeral services for Deloris Freitas, age 84 of Cookeville, will be held Wednesday April 28 beginning at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Pat Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Freitas passed from this life Tuesday, April 20. Deloris was a loving wife and a best friend to her daughters and daughter in law. She loved her grandchildren and always enjoyed going out to eat. She loved everyone she knew and some she didn’t. Deloris is survived by three daughters, Diania (Dean) Seitz, Debra (Donald) Lear, and Annette Carter. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, April 28 from 12:00 noon until the time of service at 2:00 PM.

A Memorial Service for Troy Eugene Gore, 59 of Sparta, will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, April 30 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home with Cameron Howard officiating. Mr. Gore passed away on Friday, April 23 at his home. Troy was an avid motorsports enthusiast who enjoyed bringing life back to all things mechanical. He was a loving Daddy, Brother, and friend. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, riding motorcycles, playing bocce ball, and playing with his grandchildren. Troy brought a light to this Earth that will never go dim as he always had a kind word and a smile for everyone he met. He is survived by his children, Lindsey Gore, Cody Gore, and Lee (Kim) Braswell. The family will welcome friends from 4:00 PM until time of the service at the funeral home.
