Helen Irene Bumbalough, 75 of Monterey, formerly of Redkey, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Helen was born Sunday, September 16, 1945 in Vallejo, California, and she was the daughter of the late Ora A. Cole and the late Ida Belle (Castell) Cole. Helen was a loving daughter, sister, mom, and nana. She loved to read, do puzzles, crosswords, collecting keychains, and surprising her grandchildren with gifts. Helen was loved by all that knew her and she will be greatly missed. Helen is survived by, 3 Children, David Lee Bumbalough, Rebecca Jane Shrack, and Daniel Dean Bumbalough. Helen chose cremation, the family followed her wishes, and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
Funeral services for Mr. Ralph Douglas Baker, age 85 of Sparta, will be conducted 1:00pm Thursday, March 11 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Clouse Cemetery. Dewey Young will officiate. Mr. Baker passed away on Monday, March 8 at Alive Hospice of Murfreesboro. He began working on cars at the age of 13 and worked as a mechanic as various shops until he opened North East Transmission in 1976. He was a car and motorcycle enthusiast. Ralph was a member of the Good Time Cruisers and proudly showed his 1956 Olds and 1948 Nash. He enjoyed playing guitar but his pride and joy was his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 65 years; Minerva Lee Baker of Sparta; and their children, Charles (Debbie) Baker and Glenda (Max) Guy all of Sparta. The family will receive friends after 11:00am Thursday at Hunter Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hicks Was A Homemaker, Worked With Ely & Walker In Monterey And The Cannery In Crossville. She Grew Up In The Creston/Woody Community In Crossville. Many Times She Spoke Of Growing Up In Creston, Going To Her Little Church With Her Cousins And Friends, Sharing Stories Of Fond Memories. She Loved Her Husband, Her Family, And The Lord. She Enjoyed Sewing. She Is Survived By Her Husband Of 58 Years, Cletis Hicks Of Rickman, TN; Daughter, Tina Hicks And Fiancé, Steve Gibson Of Rickman, TN; Son, Harvey Daniel Jones Of Livingston. Funeral services for James Ross Tollison, age 65 of Baxter, will be Thursday March 11 at 3:00 P.M. at Thurman Funeral Home. Interment will be at Tollison Cemetery. Mr. Tollison passed away on March 5 at his residence in Baxter. He is Survived by his wife, Mary Jo Tollison; children, John Ross Tollison, Theresa (Josh) Lane, Rebecca (Justin) O’dell; step-sons, Craig Stephenson, Bill and Dan Kinnard; and mother, Margaret Tollison. Visitation will be Wednesday March 101 at 4:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. at Thurman Funeral Home.
A celebration of life service for Mr. Kevin David Bryant, age 52 of Nashville, will be held Friday, March 12 at 11:00 a.m. the Cookeville chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. An additional service will be held at Nashville First Church of the Nazarene. Mr. Bryant died Sunday, March 7, 2021 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. His family will receive friends Thursday evening from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and again Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Memorial services for Terry M. Clinard, 77 of the Dodson Branch community, will be held on Friday, March 12 at 4 P.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro. Mr. Clinard passed away on Tuesday, March 9, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born February 3, 1944, in Davidson County, to the late Lawrence Hugo Clinard and Hazel Frances Harris Clinard. On September 24, 1966, he was married to Mattie Lue Clinard, who survives. He worked as a roofer. He is survived by his wife, Mattie Lue Clinard of Cookeville, TN; and son, Robert Dewayne Clinard of McMinnville. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2 P.M. until time of services at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in the Salem Cemetery. Mrs. Stockton passed away on March 8 in Putnam County. She is survived by her children, Dewayne (Phillis) Stockton, Roger (Toni) Stockton, Larry Stockton, Susanne (Danny) Western and Claudia (Lonny) Mather. The family will receive friends at the Chapel of Whitson Funeral Home on Saturday from 10:00am until time of services at 2:00pm.
