A Cookeville resident killed Saturday night after a head-on collision along Gainesboro Grade in Putnam County.
24-year old Winter Odom of Cookeville died when the vehicle she was driving crossed into the eastbound lane of State Route 290 into the path of a car driven by 18-year old Payton Boswell of Cookeville. Boswell was injured in the accident as was a 17-year-old passenger.
The incident happened just after 7:15pm Saturday night, according to a preliminary report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
