Mr. Glynn Guy, age 81 of the Hickory Valley community, passed away Monday night October 12, 2020 at his residence. Arrangements are incomplete.
Mr. Earl Nichols, age 90 of Cookevillle died suddenly Monday October 12, 2020 at his home. Arrangements are incomplete.
Bryn Edward Arthur Madge, 80 of Quebeck, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020, at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro. He was born Wednesday, September 11, 1940 in Miami, Florida, he was the son of the late John and Georgia Roth Madge. Survivors include: Wife- Barbara Madge of Quebeck, TN; Daughters Danielle Upshaw (Jeff) of Cookeville, TN; Kimberly Sheridan (Dale) of Fairborn, OH; and Mari Lynn Madge of Florida; Sons Geoffrey Madge of Missouri and Stephen Madge of Washington. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Ms. Brown Was Born On February 24, 1931, In Tucker County, West Virginia, To The Late Oney And Martha Elizabeth Miller Bohon. Ms. Brown Passed Away With Her Family At Her Bedside With Love And Support As They Always Had Been On Saturday, October 10, 2020, At Her Granddaughter’s Home In Rickman, Tennessee, From An Extended Illness. Ms. Brown Was A Homemaker, Loved To Garden And Plant Flowers, Knit And Crochet. She Spent Many Hours Reading Her Bible And Listening To Gospel Music. She Dearly Loved All Her Family And Time Spent Playing With Her Grandchildren. Her Days Were Filled With The Joy Of Living In God’s World. She Was Loved By All Who Knew Her And Will Be Greatly Missed By All. Graveside services for Paul Coffelt, age 73 of Cookeville, will be held Wednesday, October 14, 2020 beginning at 1:00 pm at Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. He passed from this life Monday, October 12, 2020, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born Wednesday, May 21, 1947 in Cookeville, Tennessee. He was the son of the late Lawrence and Alla Pearl (Frye) Coffelt. Paul was a loving brother, uncle, and friend to all who knew him. He was a gentle giant, with a great sense of humor. He worked as a tire salesman most of his life at Cecil Montgomery Tire Engineers. He is survived by the love of his life, Ruth Coffelt of Cookeville.
Services for Billie M. Phillips, age 81 of Cookeville, Tennessee will be at 2pm on 14 Oct 2020 at Whitson Funeral Home. Visitation is at Whitson Funeral Home from 3:00pm to 5pm for family and 5pm to 9pm for the public. Bro. Jim Blankenship and Ronny Dunn will officiate the service. Mr. Phillips quietly passed away at home on 12 Oct 2020. He was born in Jackson County on 6 June 1939. Mr. Phillips worked on the production line at Fleetguard for many years. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Phillips; Sons, Scottie and Terry Phillips; and daughters, Linda Pippin and Patty Smith. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on 13 Oct 2020 from 5-9pm.
Funeral services for Dr. Diane Lee Sadler, age 68 of Livingston, are to be held Wednesday, October 14th, 2020 from Central Park, Livingston, beginning at 2pm. Interment will be in the Draper Memorial Cemetery, Gainesboro. Dr. Sadler passed away, Friday, October 9, following a brief illness. Dr. Sadler is survived by devoted husband Waymon “Bruce” Hudgens of Livingston and former husband and dear friends, James Robbins and wife Denise Robbins of Monroe. Cherishing the memory of their beloved mother are Toni Robbins Brandt, and husband Brad, of Nashville and James Howard Robbins Junior, and wife Ginger of Cookeville. Additionally, Dr. Sadler is survived by stepson Tucker Hudgens and wife Kristen of Panama City, Florida. A native Livingstonian, Dr. Sadler was a 1970 graduate of Livingston Academy. A career educator and academic administrator, she earned her BS, MA, and EDS from Tennessee Technological University. In 1989 Dr. Sadler earned her EDD from the University of Tennessee. Dr. Sadler served as an adjunct professor at Tennessee Tech. Upon her retirement from a forty-year career, serving Overton County schools, Dr. Sadler served was elected to the Overton County Board of Education – a position of public service held at the time of her passing. A devout Christian, Dr. Sadler worshiped with Collegeside Church of Christ, Cookeville. Prior to such membership, Dr. Sadler was an active member of the Livingston Church of Christ for many years. As a patriotic American and as an active community participant, Dr. Sadler memberships included: the Livingston Rotary Club, Livingston Downtown Revitalization Committee, Delta Kappa Gamma(Alpha Upsilon Chapter), and the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). Dr. Sadler was a member of the Tennessee Tech and the University of Tennessee Alumni Associations, respectively. In lieu of flowers we would like to have donations sent to either Mustard Seed Ranch at 4955 Kuykendall Road, Cookeville, or Happy Haven at 2311 Wakefield Drive, Cookeville, or Church of Christ Disaster Relief at PO Box 111180 Nashville. Ledbetter, age 91 of Monroe, will be conducted 10 am Thursday, October 15th from Richardson Cemetery with military honors provided at graveside by the Overton County Veterans Honor Guard. The family will welcome friends from 5 until 8 pm on Wednesday evening from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston. Bro. Ledbetter passed from this life on Monday morning, October 12, 2020, from the Overton County Health and Rehab Center. He was born in Overton County on January 30, 1929, to the late William Chester and Verna Allred Ledbetter. He loved his family, ministering the Gospel of Christ, and playing golf. Glen enjoyed visiting the sick and preaching the Gospel during his career in ministry. He was a Church of Christ minister for over 50 years at several area churches, and he was a member of the Free Communion Church of Christ in Monroe. Bro. Ledbetter leaves behind his sons Paul Ledbetter and Billy Ledbetter and wife Ginny of Monroe.

Steve Reeder officiating. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Breen passed away on Sunday October 11, 2020 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, surrounded by her loving husband and mother. Julie was a loving wife, daughter, granddaughter, and friend to all who knew her. Julie has been employed by the LBJ&C Head Start Corporation for over 19 years, 16 of those years were spent as a teacher in the classroom caring for hundreds of children whom she adored. Julie is survived by her loving husband of over 19 years, Craig Breen. The family will receive friends at Sycamore Church of Christ Thursday, October 15, from 5:00pm until 8:00pm, and on Friday from 9:00am until time of service at 11:00am.

Billy Joe Gore And Bro. Darrek Copeland Will Officiate. Mr. Norrod Passed Away On Monday, October 12, 2020, At The River Park Hospital In McMinnville. Mr. Norrod Retired In October 1995 After 30 Years With TDOT As A State Road Inspector. He Taught Adult Bible Class For Several Years At The Calvary Freewill Baptist Church In Hanging Limb. He Was A Member Of The Livingston Freewill Baptist Church. He Was Married To His Wife, Versie Edith Stout Norrod For 62 Years. He Enjoyed Fishing, Hunting, And Watching A UT Football Game Either At Neyland Stadium Or On TV. He Is Survived By His Wife, Edith Stout Norrod Of Livingston; Daughter And Son-In-Law, Lisa Jane And Bro. Billy Joe Gore Of Livingston. The Family Will Receive Friends At F.A. Norrod Cemetery For Graveside Services With Request Of Everyone Wearing A Mask. Masks Will Be Provided If Needed.
Memorial services for John William Bennis, 74 of Sparta, will be held Sunday, October 18 at 3pm at Crest Lawn Funeral Home. He passed from this life on Friday, October 2, 2020, at home in Sparta. John enjoyed tinkering with cars, he was the owner of John’s Garage and Wrecker Service in Bloomington Springs. He liked to “glamcamp” (glamorous camping) with all the amenities of home, but at the lake. Jet skiing was also an event he liked doing while at the lake. He was an avid Amazon shopper. John loved his family, especially his grandson, who called him PopPop. Surviving are daughter, Jennifer Bennis of Cookeville and son Jonathan Bennis of Cookeville. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 18, 2020 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.
