Clay Inmate Escapee Captured

A Clay County inmate is now back in custody.

Roy Norris escaped the Sheriff Department’s custody in July. Norris was about to be transported to a Kentucky penitentiary when he disappeared.

The Sheriff’s Department announced Norris’ capture Tuesday. There was a possible lead Norris was in New York that came to light in August but nothing was confirmed.
