Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville is hosting a hiring fair Tuesday.
Housekeeping, nursing, and administration are some of the positions available. Covenant Health Recruiter Matt Clingon said you do not need a medical background for some of the jobs available.
“We’re looking for positive and friendly people that have a desire to put our patients first,” Clingon said. “We are looking to have interviews on site and we have the ability to make offers to expedite the application process. All of our new hires are going to have to pass a background check and complete the employee health screening.”
Anyone interested must wear a mask, have their temperature checked upon entry, and bring several copies of their resumes. Clingon said if someone cannot physically make it to the hiring fair, they can apply online.
Cumberland Medical offers varying forms of advancement within the Covenant Health System. Clingon said CMC is the only top rural hospital in the state, and was recently acknowledged by Newsweek Magazine as the best maternity hospital.
