Charles Holman,81, of Sparta, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2020 in Chattanooga. Arrangements are incomplete at this time.

Melissa Diane Bilbrey, 52 of Pleasant Shade, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2020, at Riverview Regional Medical Center in Carthage, Tennessee. Melissa was born Saturday, December 2, 1967, in Livingston, Tennessee, and she was the daughter of the late Johny Reagan and the late Norma (Johnson) Abston. Melissa was a loving daughter, sister, mom, grandma, aunt, and friend. She was loved by everyone that knew her, and she will be greatly missed. Melissa is survived by, 3 Children, Jason Bilbrey, Bryan Bilbrey, and Amanda Fulton. Melissa chose cremation, the family followed her wishes, and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.

Graveside services and interment for Jeffery Lynn Hunter, age 38 of Cookeville, will be at 11 a.m. Friday September 4 at Algood City Cemetery. Pastor Mark Gaw will officiate. Jeffrey passed away suddenly Saturday August 30, 2020 at his home. Jeffrey graduated from Cookeville High School in 2001. He formerly worked in food service at Tennessee Tech University. He attended Washington Avenue Baptist Church. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two brothers, Scottie and Brandon Hunter both of Cookeville.

Funeral Service for Thomas “Tom” “Fox” Milton Fowler, 85 of Cookeville, will be held Friday, September 4, 2020 at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Fox officiating. Entombment will follow in the Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery – Mausoleums. Mr. Fowler passed away on Monday, August 31, 2020, at his home. He is survived by, his wife of almost 63 years, Elsie Fowler, children, Marcia Gibson, Jeff and Dorothy Fowler, Tommy and Tina Fowler, and Steve Bryant. Visitation with the family will be held Thursday, September 3, 2020 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and again, Friday, September 4, 2020 from 11:00 am until time of service at Crest Lawn Funeral Home.

Visitation for Mr. Patrick Clay Randolph, age 41 of Cookeville, will be held Friday, September 4th from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again Saturday morning, September 5th from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Cookeville chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. He passed away Sunday, August 31st at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. A celebration of life service will also be held at a later date.

Funeral services for Bro. Dewey Glen Masters, age 84 of the Poplar Springs Community, will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 11 AM with burial to follow in the Poplar Springs Cemetery in the Poplar Springs Community of Overton County. Bro. Dewey Glen Masters was born in Hilham, Overton Co., TN on August 19, 1936 to the late Edward and Savannah (Johnson) Masters. He was a Minister for the Lord for many years and was a member of the Poplar Springs Missionary Baptist Church and also was a school bus driver for Overton Co. Bro. Dewey’s life was a testimony for each of us to live by, he was a true man of God and he will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Survivors include 2 Daughters: Robbie Byrd and her husband Johnny, Lisa Poskevich and her husband Dan; 1 Son: Chris Masters and his wife Tara. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening, September 4th starting at 5 PM until 8 PM. Officiating the service will be Bro. Jeremy Byrd.

Funeral Services For Larry Edmond Crisp, Age 66, Of Mayland, Tennessee, Will Be Conducted On Saturday, September 5, 2020, At 11:00 AM From The Chapel Of Goff Funeral Home. Bro. Dwayne Walls Will Officiate With Interment To Follow In The Shady Grove Cemetery. Mr. Crisp Was Born On April 7, 1954, In Monterey, Tennessee, To The Late Kenneth Edmond And Willie Pearl Adkins Crisp. Mr. Crisp Passed Away On Wednesday, September 2, 2020, At The Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Mr. Crisp Was Retired From Crossville Rubber Products Where He Had Worked For 29 Years. He Is Survived By His Wife Of 46 Years, Linda Tinch Crisp Of Mayland, TN; Daughter, April Crisp Of Mayland, TN. The Family Will Receive Friends At Goff Funeral Home On Friday, September 4, 2020, From 5:00 PM Until 8:00 PM.

Funeral services for Mrs. Wanda Grace Burton, age 86 will be held Saturday, September 5 at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Pastor Justin Randolph will officiate. Nursing honors will be rendered by the Tennessee Nurses Honor Guard. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Burton died Thursday morning, September 3, 2020 at Bailey Manor in Cookeville. Wanda was a dedicated nurse having worked at Cookeville Regional Medical Center and alongside Dr. James Shaw. Mrs. Burton is survived by her three children, Mike (Cathy) Burton of Cookeville, (Ricky) Maddux of Franklin, and Teresa (Gary) Huddleston of Glasgow, KY. The family wants to express their sincere appreciation to the caregivers at Bailey Manor and Kindred Hospice for their excellent care. Family will receive friends from 1 p.m. till service time at the funeral home.

Graveside services for Diane M. Schimberg, age 63 of Baxter, will be held Saturday, September 12, 2020 beginning at 10:00 am at Smellage Memory Gardens Cemetery. Interment will follow in Smellage Memory Gardens, Boma, TN. Diane passed from this life on Wednesday, September 2, 2020, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Diane was a loving wife, sister, aunt and friend to all who knew her. She worked many years in housekeeping at Knights Inn and Best Western Motel. She was an animal lover, and loved flea marketing, garage sales, and searching for antiques with her husband Charles. Diane is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Charles Schimberg of Baxter.

A memorial service for Mrs. Patricia Ann McClellan Sherrell, age 78 of Sparta, will be held 11:15 am Sunday, September 13, 2020 at the Sparta First Presbyterian Church. Rev. David Eisenmengar will officiate. She passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at Life Center of Sparta.
