The Putnam County Commission will meet Monday night to hear reports of its committees.
Planning Committee will meet at 5:00 to adopt the updated Upper Cumberland Regional Airport zoning map. Next, the Road Committee will review recommendations for the speed limit on Silas Vickers Road. Then at 5:30, the Fiscal Review Committee will consider purchasing properties for additional parking around the Justice Center.
The commission will also hear reports of the general school and county road funds.
The Fentress County Commission will meet Monday at at the county courthouse to rename the bridge over Little Jack Creek to Virgil H. Pile Memorial Bridge. Three new commissioners will be appointed the same night at 6:00 p.m.
The Monday Cumberland County Commission will appoint a Judicial Commissioner and reappoint Mayor Allen Foster to the railroad authority, 9-11 board and planning committee. A resolution to put Cold Springs Road back on the county road list will be voted on. Meeting starts at 6:00 p.m. held at the Mayor’s office building.
