Tennessee Tech graduate Dodd Galbreath has been honored for his lifetime of work in conservation.
Galbreath received the 2020 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation. He founded Lipscomb University’s Institute for Sustainable Practice in 2007. Galbreath currently serves as associate professor of sustainability at Lipscomb.
The Tennessee Tech grad studied agriculture. He received his masters degree from Tennessee.
“(Dodd) had a vision for the work and found ways to transfer that passion to future generations,” TDEC Commissioner David Salyers said.
