Obituaries For Monday, July 13

John H. Tinch, age 70 of Cookeville passed from this life Saturday, July 11, 2020, at Cookeville Regional Medical.John was a U.S. Veteran, an excellent builder, loved fishing, playing pool.The family has chosen cremation and a graveside interment will be held in the near future with information provided as received.

Funeral Services for Mr. Cledis Dewell Carr, age 63 of Livingston, will be conducted 3 pm Tuesday, July 14, 2020, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston. Burial will be in the Overton County Memorial Gardens. The family will welcome friends on Tuesday from 1 pm until time of services at 3 pm. He loved to ride his Harley Davidson and spent time working on motorcycles. He often went to the lake and loved wheeling and dealing. He loved driving his Corvette, and most of all he loved his daughter Emily. Mr. Carr leaves behind his daughter Sarah Emily Carr of Livingston; sisters Judy Dillon and husband Aron of Livingston, Helen Garret of Livingston, and Mable Copeland and husband Steve of Livingston; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends and relatives.

Graveside services for Lance Reed Holland, age 49, of the Bloomington Springs community, will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at 12:00 Noon at the Stallion/Stalliongs Family Cemetery. Mr. Holland passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at his residence. Lance was of the Baptist faith. He worked in the Auto Industry with Cookeville Auto Auction. Mr. Holland is survived by his Mother Barbara Ann (Stallings) Holland; Brother Casey Holland.

Funeral services for Mr. Warren G. Stewart, age 77 of Cookeville will be held Wednesday, July 14th at 1:00p.m. in the Life Church Edge facility. Interment will follow in Tightfit Cemetery in Boma with military honors rendered by the Veterans Honor Guard. He passed away on the evening of July 12th, 2020 surrounded by his family at home. Warren was proud to say he served in the United States Army and that he worked at TUTCO for over 30 years, retiring in the position of Director of Quality Assurance in 2008. On November 25, 1983, he married Pamela ‘Pam’ Davis. Warren was known for his endearing devotion to his two daughters, Jennifer and Becky, and two sons, Jonathan and Andrew. His family will receive friends Tuesday July 14th from 5pm until 8pm and again Wednesday, July 14th from 12pm until service time at the church. Due to COVID-19 precautions, social distancing measures will be observed. Flowers or donations may be sent to Life Church.

Memorial services for Clarence Eugene Landis, age 82 of Cookeville, will be held at 1 p.m Friday, July 17, 2020 at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home.The family will receive friends Friday from 11 a.m. until time of services. Due to Covid-19 precautions, social distance measures will be observed. Clarence passed away Saturday July 11, 2020 at Signature HealthCare of Putnam County. As an expression of appreciation for the positive treatments he received, Clarence donated his body to Vanderbilt School of Medicine and will be attending medical school with 572 new doctors and residents later in July.

Memorial services for Joyce Ann Ortlepp, 74, of Baxter, will be Friday, July 17 at 1 PM at New Beginning Assembly of God 2193 West Broad Street, Cookeville.The family will receive friends at the church after 11 AM Friday until service time. Interment will be in West Cemetery in the Burgess Falls Community at a later date. Mrs. Ortlepp died Sunday, July 12, 2020 at her home in Baxter from injuries in a fire. Due to COVID-19 precautions social distancing will be observed. Funeral Services for Ryleigh-Ann Faye Kimball, 7 years old of Cookeville will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 18, 2020 in the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home. She passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2020, at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville surrounded by her family. She was energetic and sassy, loving to wear her bright colored socks while adorning her lip gloss and fingernail polish. She enjoyed every moment, whether playing in the dirt, fishing with her dad, or dancing around and singing with her mom. She may have only lived 7 short years, but she lived life fully and loved whole heartedly.Ryleigh loved life and people. As an organ donor, she gave the ultimate gift of life to so many others. Ryleigh was the daughter of Rebecca Trobaugh and the late Eric Kimball. The family visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, July 18, 2020, in the chapel at Crest Lawn. The family will receive friends and visitors 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Crest Lawn Funeral Home.

Memorial Services for Carol Juanita Thompson, age 69, of Cookeville, will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Church of God of Prophecy, 1580 S. Jefferson Ave. Cookeville with Sister Velma Robe officiating. Mrs. Thompson had chosen cremation and requested just for a memorial service. Carol Juanita Thompson was born on August 21, 1950 in Cookeville, Tennessee to the late L.D. and Lucille (Rittenberry) Lindsey. She was a self-employed housecleaner. She is survived by Husband Jerry Thompson; Son Mark Borders; Daughter & Son-In-Law: Sherrie (Stephen) Denton.
