4K Gallons Of Milk Distributed In Putnam

Some 4,000 gallons of milk were distributed free at the Putnam County Fairgrounds Thursday morning.

The distribution was a joint venture of the Dairy Alliance and the Putnam County Ag Extension Office. The milk came as part of a CARES Act grant.

Churches, Food pantries, non-profits and individuals could pick up the milk Thursday. Similar distributions are going on across the state.
