Accident Closes Down Part of 111 in Overton Co.

A multiple-car accident on Highway 111 in Overton County this afternoon has closed one lane of eastbound traffic.

The crash near E. Paron Road was reported at 12:59 p.m. The accident is estimated to be cleared around 5 p.m.

Lt. Jason McGee of the Tennessee Highway Patrol said two vehicles were involved in the accident and there are injuries involved. He said more information would be released as it becomes available.

All westbound traffic on 111 was unaffected.
