Beginning July 6th, the Putnam County Jail will re-open visitations by appointment only.
Visitations will be limited to two people per inmate. Appointments can be scheduled from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Each scheduled session will last 30 minutes. Officials ask visitors to not come 10 minutes before or after your scheduled time. As Covid numbers drop, more visitors and longer visits will be allowed.
Appointments can be made starting Thursday by calling (931) 646-1442 during visitation hours. Multiple visits a day will not be permitted.
Officials ask visitors who are experiencing Covid symptoms to not schedule an appointment for the safety of others. Social distancing will be followed in the visitation areas along with sanitizing every 30 minutes.
