Mr. Shirlie E. Roberson, 89 of Cookeville died Sunday May 17, 2020 at 1:40 p.m. in Signature Health Care Center in Algood. Arrangements are incomplete.

Mrs. Velma Brown, 85 of Cookeville died Sunday May 17, 2020 at 5:35 a.m. in Signature Health Care in Algood. Arrangements are incomplete.

Mrs. Joan Cummings, 81 of Cookevillle died Sunday May 17, 2020 at 5:30 p.m. in Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Arrangements are incomplete.

Mrs. JoAnn McGuire, 80 of Red Boiling Springs, died Saturday May 16, 2020 at 10:20 p.m. at her home. Arrangements are incomplete.

Mr. Herman Cirocco, age 92 died Friday May 15, 2020 In Bethesda Health Care. Services will be scheduled at a later date at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.

Memorial services for Paul Russell Ray, 45 of Cookeville will be Tuesday, May 19 at 1 PM at the Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until service time. Military honors will be provided by the Veterans Honor Guard. Mr. Ray died Friday, May 15, 2020 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born June 21, 1974 in Waukegan, Illinois to the late Paul Richard and Shirley Ann Norton Ray. He was a graduate of Upperman High School in Baxter. He was an Army veteran. He was a martial arts instructor with Johnny Loftis Karate Studio. He was a 4th degree black belt. He enjoyed music, playing drums and martial arts. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law Christian Jordan and Kellie Jo Ray of Silver Point, daughter Kylee Rose Head of Cookeville, grandson Tatum Jameson Ray.

Graveside services and interment for 96 year old Agnes Yates Johnson (Granny “A”) of Cookeville and formerly of Baxter, will be held Tuesday May 19 at 3:00 p.m. at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Baxter with eulogies provided by her family. Mrs. Johnson died Saturday morning, May 16, 2020 at her home in Cookeville. Agnes Johnson was born August 28, 1923 in Robertson County to Roscoe Yates and Novell Norman Yates. After the death of her parents at a young age, Agnes was raised at the Masonic Home in Nashville then attended Baxter Seminary. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William W. Johnson (whom she married on May 28, 1940), a daughter, Frances Palk, two sisters and two brothers. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Charles “Chuck” and Sarah Johnson of Cookeville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and Dr. Ray Troop of Rock Island and Louise and Richard Charles of Cookeville; five grandchildren, Jennifer( Dr. John) Little of Knoxville, Charlie Johnson, David (Susan) Johnson all of Cookeville, Russell ( Michelle) Palk, and Beth Palk all of Franklin, TN; 12-great grandchildren, John Grant, Matthew, and Sarah Frances Little; Conner and Cooper Palk; Callaway, and Abbey Palk; Leah and Foster Johnson; Anna, Emma, and Will Johnson.

Graveside services for Cleamon “Slim” Asher Bradford, age 80, of Cookeville, Tennessee will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at 2:30pm at Boiling Springs Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held Tuesday, May 19, 2020 from 5:00-7:00pm at Whitson Funeral Home. He passed away on May 15, 2020 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Cleamon “Slim” Asher Bradford was born on October 17, 1939 in Putnam County, Tennessee to the late Clifford Lew and Della (Dunn) Bradford. He worked for Norwalk, and in addition to his parents, was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Glenn and C.D. Bradford. He is survived by 2 Sisters & Brother-In-Law: Ann and George Ramsey-Rickman, TN, Patty Wells-Cookeville, TN; Daughter: Kimberly Bradford-Sparta, TN; 1 Grandchild: Jamal Alhalawani-Sparta, TN.
