Monday marks the final day tornado victims can apply for FEMA or SBA assistance from the March 3 storm.
You can register for FEMA assistance through DisasterAssistance.Gov or by using the FEMA App. You can also call 1-800-621-3362 from 6am-9pm. Low-interest disaster loans for physical property damage through the US Small Business Administration are available at SBA.Gov.
Monday is the deadline for application to these resources.
Both FEMA and the SBA hit the ground in the days after the tornado struck Putnam County. They opened a disaster relief center at Hyder Burks, which was subsequently closed by COVID-19.
