The number of White County COVID-19 cases doubled over the weekend to 14 bringing the Upper Cumberland’s total of 379.
Just over 58 percent of those who contracted COVID-19 in our region have already recovered. All cases in Clay County and Van Buren County have recovered. All but one patient has recovered in Jackson County. Seven of nine patients have recovered in Overton.
The Tennessee Health Department reports 13,177 cases statewide with 210 deaths as of Sunday.
White County reported seven cases Saturday.
