Tennessee Tech will attempt to reopen the campus to students this fall.
“As a university built on practicality and problem solving, we are exploring ways we can safety bring students back to campus and still give them a complete college experience, even if it looks somewhat different than before the pandemic,” President Phil Oldham said.
Oldham announced four action groups to begin the process of exploring all necessary issues for a campus reopening. That includes residential life, adapting classes and classrooms, COVID-19 testing, cleaning and protection protocols. The University announced Oldham and his vice presidents will serve as the steering committee for this group.
Oldham said a transition plan will be announced mid May.
