Putnam County’s COVID-19 case number hit 100 Wednesday with four people dead.
That number reflects an increase of five cases from Tuesday’s report. Putnam County becomes the 12th county in the state to reach triple digits in positive COVID-19 cases. 74 of those who tested positive have recovered.
1,097 tests have come back negative.
The Upper Cumberland total stands at 264, according to the Tennessee Department of Health. Cumberland County’s total reached 60 Wednesday with 35 in Macon County. Smith County’s positive tests reached 18. Cannon County reported 10 cases.
Overton County reports seven positive tests with six in Jackson County. Clay County reports five cases. Four positive cases exist in Fentress, Warren and White Counties. Van Buren County reports one case.
Pickett County stands as one of two counties without any positive cases.
