Clay County’s first COVID-19 case reported Wednesday as the Upper Cumberland total grew to 60 confirmed cases.
White County reported its second case Wednesday.
The Tennessee Department of Health reports 31 cases in Putnam County, 14 in Cumberland County, and 5 in Dekalb County.

The statewide case load grew to 2,683 with 200 people hospitalized. A total of 24 people have died.
For the first time Wednesday, the state provided the county-by-county breakdown of deaths from COVID-19. No one has died in the Upper Cumberland Counties. Sumner County’s seven deaths leads the state.
