White Co Emergency Operations Asking People To Stay Home

Dangerous road conditions prompting White County Emergency Management to ask residents to stay at home unless they are dealing with a home that is unsafe.

The Sparta-White County Rescue Squad building has been opened as an emergency shelter for those needing a place to shelter. The building is located at 320 East Bockman Way in Sparta.

The Emergency Operations Center has been activated to assist in restoring power, clearing roads, and assessing damage.
