A total of 25 coronavirus cases across the Upper Cumberland reported Friday, according to the Tennessee Department of Health.
The first case reported in Smith County Friday.
The total includes 13 cases in Putnam County, 6 in Cumberland, 3 in Dekalb, and one each in Overton, Smith, and White Counties.
Statewide, the number of cases grew to 1,203, an increase of 246 from Thursday. The death toll increased to six. The number of cases in Shelby County/Memphis has increased significantly this week up to 201. Davidson County’s number stands at 216.
