Tennessee Tech President Dr. Phil Oldham announced the postponement of spring commencement Tuesday.
In an email to campus, Oldham said student leaders will plan a celebratory event at a different time.
Oldham said classes the remainder of the semester will be delivered online.
“We will help each student, including those scheduled to graduate, complete the semester,” Oldham said.
Employees able to work from home began making that transition this week. Campus offices are being staffed with minimum staff. Oldham urged campus members to call or make an appointment. Dorm checkout are being scheduled through March 29, but can be postponed.
All campus events, Oldham said, are cancelled through May 9.
