Two women facing drug charges after a hangup call to 911 in Crossville Sunday.
Stefanie Hayes said she made the call to 911 after arguing with her mother, Judy Hayes, inside a room at Crossville’s Comfort Inn and Suite. The daughter said her mother had left the room and gotten into her car. Police found the mother and another woman, Catherine Waynick, inside the vehicle. The vehicle has Cheatham County tags.
Judy Hayes agreed to a search. Police tested the contents and found 0.7 grams of meth. Police also found seven additional pills the women did not have a prescription for. Both arrested by Crossville Police and charged.
