Putnam County Schools Escape Damage

Interim director of Putnam County schools Corby King said all schools and facilities received no damage after severe storms rolled through Tuesday morning.

“There was a group of volunteers out this morning, Sycamore in particular, that had debris, and they were there cleaning that up first thing this morning,”King said.

According to King, volunteers completed the cleanup of all school campuses today.

All Putnam County schools remain closed for the rest of the week while residents continue assist the community.
