Cookeville Man Threatens Woman With A Gun Thursday

A Cookeville man landed behind bars Thursday after he allegedly threatened to kill a woman.

Cookeville Police charged Alan Lee Carver with aggravated assault. He has not yet posted his $10,000 bond amount.

Officers encountered Carver after responding to an assault complaint at a home.

According to the arrest warrant, the victim told officers that Carver pointed a gun at her and threatened to kill her if she did not leave his room.

The woman told officers that Carver put her in fear of her life.
