The Putnam County School board voted Thursday to grant tenure to twelve more educators.
This follows the board’s decision to grant tenure to more than 30 teachers during the November meeting.
Teachers become eligible for tenure by earning an overall level of effectiveness of four or five in each of their final two probationary years.
Techers receiving tenure Thursday include Lucinda Queen of the Flex Learning Center; Brandon Myers of Cornerstone Elementary School; Whitney Pastorial of Jere Whitson Elementary School; Rachel Huddleston and Laura Roberson of Cane Creek Elementary School; Taylor Dyer and Lacy Loggins of Algood Middle School; Joye Ashby, Jennie Patton and Amy Gore of Cookeville High School; Jeffrey Slagle of the Central Office; and Elizabeth Black of Prescott South Middle School.
