Algood Farmer’s Market Work To Ramp Up This Month

The Algood Farmer’s Market project will ramp up shortly after the new year.

City Administrator Keith Morrison said TCAT Livingston students will begin constructing the structure when they return from winter break.

“As soon as January 1st hits, we anticipate moving forward on the construction of that facility,” Morrison said. “We’ve received quite a few compliments on it, as well as the sidewalk work that we are completing.”

The City of Algood has already poured the concrete pad for the market. Crews have also installed the facility’s storage closet and bathrooms.
