A Celina man faces attempted murder charges following a Monday night shooting.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation identified the suspect as 44-year-old James Jeffery Carmack. He remains behind bars at the Clay County Jail on $300,000 bond.
A TBI press release accuses Carmack of shooting man at a residence along Poor House Ridge Road shortly before 9 p.m. The investigation revealed that Carmack also fired shots at a second person, but did not strike that individual.
The shooting victim received medical treatment at a local hospital. His condition remains unknown at this time.
Carmack also faces two counts of aggravated assault.
